Goodbye, House
We're a little sad today. The sale of our Phoenix house closes tomorrow, and it was a very difficult house to give up. We can only hope we're going in the right direction, and trust that our prayers for guidance and for lack of stupidity are being answered.
This was my favorite place in the house. The drafting table is a used one that Scott found for me on craigslist for Valentine's Day one year. Used for many years by an architect who is now retired. One of the coolest gifts ever.

No doubt. Love a man that knows how to pick a gift like that. wow. A beatiful corner with so much light -- my favorite kind. oo = ]

Man - what a hard place to give up. What a beautiful home with such great memories. On the plus side, you actually closed on the sale! Not an insignificant achievement in today's housing market (especially in Arizona).
FWIW, my own overarching stupidity has always revealed that the Lord has my back, whatever dark alleyways I wander into. You and Mr. Rant are neither stupid nor wandering.
"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen."

Great verse, JWebb. That helps.
Citlali- glad you got to see it! It's a great house, but there will be others.

Leaving things is hard;you always get over it, but then there will be things in the future to leave - loved ones are the hardest.
The only things you can count on are spiritual and emotional; these will always be with you.
So, you move on and take the best with you. I never missed a thing more than a person.
